Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Fitness Durbar gym facility at Hattiban, Velpa Marga, near Money Plant Housing, Lalitpur, and the website fitnessdurbar.com.np. By becoming a member or using this site, you accept these Terms.

1. Membership

  • Membership is non-transferable and tied to one individual.
  • Tiers, prices, and inclusions are listed at /pricing and may change with reasonable notice.
  • Memberships start on the date of payment unless otherwise agreed.
  • Memberships cannot be backdated.

2. Use of the gym

  • You must follow staff instructions on equipment use and safety.
  • Wipe down equipment after use; re-rack weights; respect other members.
  • Personal items left behind become the gym's property after 30 days.
  • Photography and videography are permitted for personal use only — never of other members without their explicit consent.

3. Health and fitness

  • You are responsible for ensuring you are medically fit to train.
  • Disclose any condition that may affect your safety on the intake form.
  • Fitness Durbar is not liable for injuries arising from misuse of equipment, undisclosed medical conditions, or failure to follow trainer instructions.

4. Conduct

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership without refund for:

  • Harassment of other members or staff
  • Use or sale of illegal substances on the premises
  • Damage to property
  • Fraudulent payment or identity

5. Cancellation, freeze, and refunds

  • Memberships may be frozen for up to 30 days per year by contacting the front desk.
  • Memberships are non-refundable except where required by Nepali consumer law.
  • We may close the gym for festivals, maintenance, or force-majeure events without compensation.

6. Online services

  • The website and member portal are provided "as is".
  • We strive for uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • Online bookings are confirmed only when you receive a confirmation message.

7. Intellectual property

All content on fitnessdurbar.com.np (text, images, video, logos) is the property of Fitness Durbar or its licensors. You may not reproduce or repurpose content without written permission.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; the "last updated" date will reflect any changes. Continued use of the gym or website after a change constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Lalitpur.
